ALEX PETERSON
Meet Alex, a dedicated professional who has embarked on a fulfilling journey in the field of permanent makeup. Following several relocations across the southern US for her husband's career, Alex faced challenges in finding her calling. However, in 2020, a encounter with Morgan Smith, the talented owner of Brow Bar Savannah, sparked her passion for permanent makeup. Driven by her newfound purpose, Alex wasted no time and enrolled in a Master's Course Training in February 2021 and received certificates for Microshading, MicroBlading, and Lip Blushing techniques.
Despite the familiar scenario of having to relocate, Alex returned to Mississippi in 2023. Eager to establish herself in the industry, Alex embarked on an apprenticeship under the guidance of April Davis, esteemed owner of ARD Studio in Southaven, MS. Over the course of nine months, Alex gained knowledge and hands-on experience while diligently building her clientele. Once her apprenticeship was successfully completed, Alex took the next leap and opened her own business, Desoto Brow Bar, in a cozy salon suite in Southaven, MS.
Alex's business absolutely flourished, leading her to cross paths with Lindsay Morris, a talented apprentice who shared her passion and aspirations. Recognizing their shared vision, Alex and Lindsay combined their knowledge and experience to establish their joint venture, Blade Babes Aesthetics. With a deep love for the PMU industry and a genuine desire to make people feel their best, Alex is thrilled to welcome new clients and create transformative experiences that enhance their beauty and boost their confidence.
LINDSAY MORRIS
Meet Linny, an enthusiastic, determined beauty professional driven by her passion for the permanent makeup industry. Since childhood, Lindsay's fascination with beauty has been unwavering. From playfully styling her grandmother's hair to experimenting with makeup on her friends, she knew early on that her future belonged in this realm. In 2016, she graduated from Paul Mitchell the School of Memphis where she developed an interest in color theory and quickly ventured into the fun world of vibrant hair colors and professional makeup.
Seeking growth and personal development, Lindsay decided to step out of her comfort zone and move to Salt Lake City, UT in 2017. There she continued to expanded her skills by specializing in eyelash extensions and personal training, discovering her true passion for helping individuals look and feel their absolute best. Returning to Mississippi in 2019, Lindsay wasted no time rebuilding her clientele and focused primarily on building her business, Lashed By Linny.
Inspired by the entire cosmetology experience, Lindsay set her sights on the art of permanent makeup and underwent training in 2022 with professional, Linnie Phan, in Dallas, Texas. She gained certifications in micro-shading, ombré powder, and saline remover techniques. Fueled by her in depth knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit, Lindsay has now partnered with her exceptional co-owner, Alex Peterson, to establish Blade Babes Aesthetics. Lindsay’s strives to deliver the best possible experience, ensuring every single client leaves feeling confident and satisfied.
